2 – Entry to Practice National Competencies and Standards for Canadian Dental Hygienists:

3 – Personal Health Information Privacy and Access Act (PHIPAA) and Personal  Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)

The Government of NB and the Government of Canada have established standards in relations with the protection of personal health records of clients. The NB College of Dental Hygienists recommends that dental hygienists abide by the recommendation included in the PHIPAA and the PIPEDA concerning personal health information of their clients.  For more information on these Act, please  refer to the following links:
